A Prayer for a Clean Heart and a Faithful Walk

Prayer is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. It allows us to come boldly before His throne, confess our sins, seek His guidance, and intercede for those we love. Dear Lord Jesus,

I come before Your presence, Lord. I ask You to forgive me for every sin that I have committed-everything I’ve said and everything I’ve thought about. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Father, I pray for my family, my spouse, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, my mother, my church family, and, Lord, everyone. I pray that You will save them in the name of Jesus and keep them each and every day.

I realize that there are so many things happening around us. I pray that You will keep us and keep our minds stayed on You. Help us to continue to run the race that You have set before us. Help us not to get weary and throw in the towel. Teach us to be patient.

I know that You are going to come back one day, and You are coming for Your bride, the Church. We have to be without spot and blemish. We have to be holy, pure, and righteous. Teach us to walk upright before You. Help us to be an example to those around us. Help us to live before our family, our neighbors, and our coworkers in a way that honors You.

I pray that, as we continue to walk before You, our lives will be pleasing to You.

Father, I thank You for everything that You have done and all that You will continue to do. I give You all the praise, the honor, and the glory.

In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name I pray.
