Hello Friends, Welcome to Divine Hope.
I want to give you a bit of insight about my blog. I am known by my email name, Godsencourager. For many years, I have loved encouraging others, and that passion is what led me here.
I began by simply taking a Scripture, writing it out, and explaining it. Then I would email it daily to my family and friends. I would also send personal encouraging notes whenever the Lord placed it on my heart.
Over time, the Lord placed it on my heart to expand this calling into blogging. I actually began blogging many years ago, but stopped when life became busy. Now, with the help of the Lord, I am returning to it once again.
My desire is to encourage you as you begin this journey with me through the Word of God-not only through devotionals, but also through inspirational writings and testimonies. My prayer is that you will always find something here that uplifts and strengthens your heart.
One of the main purposes of this blog is to help you develop a closer relationship with the Lord. You may desire a deeper walk with Him but no know where to begin, and I hope to help guide you in that.
You may simply need a word of encouragement through a devotional or testimony, or you may be someone who is learning about Jesus for the very first time.
The three main practices that help strengthen a believer’s spiritual growth are:
Reading your Bible daily
Praying regularly
Attending a church that preaches and teaches the pure Word of God, without mixture or dilution
These practices are essential for beginning and strengthening your spiritual growth. As you open your Bible, allow the Word of God to wash over you bringing you peace, as you deepen your relationship with Him.

“It’s Time to Step Out of the Boat”
It is time for us to “Step out of the Boat”. We have to have the faith to believe that having faith in God will not cause us to sink. The same way that Jesus did not let Peter sink, He will not let you go under. Trials and test may come but, He will sustain through them all. Walk by faith, not by sight.

“Grandmother’s are a special blessing from God, a reflection of His grace through generations. They hold a sacred place in the lives of their grandchildren, passing down love, wisdom, and faith. To be a grandmother is to witness the fruit of God’s promises, as one generation declares His works to another.
Family: The Grassroots of Society
Family is the Grassroot of Society. It is important for us as a family to take the time and love on one another. Don’t put off today and say tomorrow I will call, text, or stop by. Remember, tomorrow is not promised. Do what you can today to build or rebuild that relationship. Forgive and move forward with your family.

Train up a child in the way that they should go. It is not only going to church that God talks about. He wants us to train and plant good seeds into our child(ren) so that when they get older those good seeds that are planted will take root and begin to grow.
