When Jesus Steps Into the Room

Brothers and sisters in Christ, when Jesus steps into the room— there will be a shift in that place.

When He went to Samaria, He knew the woman at the well would be there. According to custom, Jews did not associate with Samaritans, yet Jesus chose to go anyway (John 4).

A Samaritan woman came to draw water, not knowing that her encounter with Jesus would change her life forever. Jesus asked her for a drink of water, and though He was a Jew and she was a Samaritan, that did not stop Him. Jesus was not concerned with the barriers people created.

She did not realize at first who she was speaking to. Jesus answered, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, “Give me a drink'; you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.

Jesus told her everything about her life. She dropped her water jar and ran into the city, saying, “Come see a man who told me everything I have ever done!” Her life was changed. She was no longer an outcast-she had encountered Jesus.

The woman with the issue of blood, who had been bleeding for twelve years, encountered Jesus (Luke 8:43-48), and her life changed. She was miraculously healed.

Blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52), a beggar, heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by in Jericho. As Jesus and His disciples were leaving the city, Bartimaeus sat by the roadside, begging.

When he heard that it was Jesus, he began to cry out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many tried to silence him, but he cried out even louder because he was desperate.

Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

The disciples called the blind man, saying, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” Bartimaeus came to Jesus, and Jesus asked him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

The blind man said, '“Lord, let me receive my sight.”

Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and began following Jesus on the road.

Every encounter with Jesus brings healing to those who believe.

The woman who was bent over for 18 years was healed (Luke 13:10). Jarius’ daughter was raised from the dead, when Jesus stepped into the room. (Mark 5:21-24, 35-43). When Jesus steps into the room, life enters with Him. No dead thing can stand in His presence. Lazarus came forth when Jesus called him from death to life.(John 11:35-44).

John 11:25-26 says: I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, yet shall he live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?

Jesus gives us eternal life, and at the same time, He gives us the ability to be healed and made whole.

When Jesus steps into your room, you can-and will-recover. Your life can be transformed. He tells us to choose life. Why? Because He came to give us life more abundantly (John 10:10).

What do you believe?

Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Let Jesus step into your room. Have faith for the impossible. Only believe-because all things are possible to those who believe. Open your heart today and receive the impossible, and watch God move in your life.

Amen
