“Don’t Just Pass By-Stop and Spend Time with God”
Spend A Quiet Moment With God today
What is weighing on your mind today?
The heaviness you feel-God never intended you to carry it alone.
The Bible tells us in Philippians to be anxious about nothing. Yet worry has a way of creeping in. It fills our thoughts, weakens our faith, and brings mental distress. Fear begins to take over, and before we know it, we feel overwhelmed.
But there is another way.
Instead of worrying, God invites us to pray. He calls us to bring everything to Him-every concern, every fear, every unanswered question. Not only are we to ask, but we are to thank Him, trusting that He is already working things out on our behalf. God has never failed, and He never will.
1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. When we truly release our burdens to God, His peace begins to cover our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The battle we face often begins in the mind. That’s why Philippians 4:8 teaches us to focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. What you think about matters.
When you choose to dwell on God’s truth instead of your fears, something begins to shift. Your mind becomes steadier. Your heart becomes lighter. Even when life feels uncertain, you can walk in victory because your focus is on Him.
Don’t allow your thoughts to run wild like a runaway train. Instead, take control of them. Choose what is good, true, and aligned with God’s Word.
We are not called to ignore what we are facing-but we are called to walk by faith, not by sight. Instead of complaining, choose to praise. There is power in lifting your voice to God. Even in the middle of uncertainty.
2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. You have authority over what you allow to stay in your mind. Negative thoughts do not have to control your life.
Even when others speak negativity, you don’t have to receive it. Bring every thought into alignment with God’s truth. Ask Him to help you renew your mind and strengthen your thinking.
Romans 12:2 reminds us not to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. God’s Word has the power to break negative thinking and replace it with truth, peace, and strength.
A Final Encouragement
Today, choose to release every worry into God’s hands. You don’t have to carry it anymore.
Pause right now. Take a deep breath. Give it all to Him.
God cares about you, and He is already working behind the scenes.
His peace is not far away-it’s available to you right now.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus,
I come before You and thank You for another day. Thank You for hearing me when I pray. Thank You that You are just a whisper away.
Today, I release every worry, every fear, and every burden into Your hands. Help me to trust You more and to focus on what is true and good. Renew my mind and fill my heart with Your peace.
I bless You and honor You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen and amen.
