When You feel Like Nothing Is Changing, Keep Praying”
Person kneeling before a cross in prayer and worship
Have you ever felt like giving up in the middle of praying for a loved one, a friend, or someone you know who truly needs prayer?
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. It can be heavy, and even discouraging. You may find yourself wondering, “Is anything I’m praying for really going to change?”
But I’m here to remind you today-prayer works.
God hears every prayer you pray. He hears your quiet whispers, your desperate cries, and even the words you struggle to say. No matter what we bring to Him, He listens-and He understands.
One of the most comforting truths is this: It doesn’t matter where you are in life. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, strong or struggling-God hears you when you cry out to Him.
Scripture tells us:
“This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.”-Psalm 34:6
“When the righteous cry (for help), the Lord hears, And rescues them from all their distress and troubles.”-Psalm 34:17
So today, if your heart feels heavy and you’re wondering, “Does God really hear me?”-the answer is yes, He does.
It may take time for things to change. You many not see immediate results. But don’t stop praying. Don’t stop asking. Don’t stop believing.
Because you can be assured of this: God hears every prayer you’ve prayed-and He will answer. His timing is always perfect.
If this encouraged you, take a moment to pray today-and share this with someone who may need hope.
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you today with a grateful heart. Thank You for hearing every prayer, even when it feels like nothing is changing. Thank You for being so near-always listening, always caring, just a whisper away. Lord, give us the strength to keep praying, to keep believing, and to trust in Your perfect timing. I honor You, I bless you, and I lift up every burden into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
