Salvation is Free: The Priceless Gift of Jesus Christ
Salvation Is Free
If a friend told you they knew someone giving away something priceless for free, would you believe them? What if they said it was completely authentic, with no strings attached, and they had already received theirs? would you be curious enough to go and see, or would you hesitate because it sounded too good to be true?
If this was a trusted friend who truly cared about you and always wanted the best for you, chances are you would at least consider it.
Well, there truly is a priceless gift that was given over 2,000 years ago. Jesus Christ gave His life for us and offered mankind the greatest gift ever given-salvation. It is a gift we do not have to pay for because Jesus already paid the price through His death on the cross.
Jesus gave His life to set us free from sin and to restore our relationship with God our Father. Salvation is a free gift from God so that we may have eternal life and live with Him forever.
Oh, how He loves you. Oh, how He cares for you.
Jesus set the example for all of us. The Word of God was written so we could know who God is, understand how we should live, and grow in relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We have such a loving Father that He has prepared a place for us called Heaven. The same Jesus who walked this earth, died, rose again, and ascended into Heaven will one day return, and every eye will see Him.
That is why it is so important to be born again.
In John chapter 3, Nicodemus asked Jesus, “Can a man enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born again?” Jesus explained that human parents give physical life, but the Holy Spirit gives spiritual life. We must be born of the water and of the Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, a person’s life is transformed.
It is so important to have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior because He loves us deeply. One day, every person will answer to God. We must all give an account to Him for the deeds we have done whether good or bad. All God truly wants is a relationship with us. He wants the very best for His children.
Jesus died on the cross, rose on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for His people.
Know this: one day Jesus is coming back.
The Bible says that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.
Will life be perfect after you accept Him? no.
Will we still face troubles? Yes.
The book of Job says, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.” But when we face life’s troubles God gets us through it, Yet with God, I know that all things are possible.
What am I saying?
If you do not know Jesus as your Savior, get to know Him. It is not hard at all. The gift of eternal life is the greatest gift ever given. You do not have to work to earn it. Salvation begins with repentance and believing that Jesus died to save you from your sins. (John 3:16-17). God loves you so much that He freely gave His only Son, so that you can have eternal life.
Romans 10:9-10 says; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness,; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. I believe that You died and rose again from the dead. I believe that You sit at the right hand of the Father. I ask You today to come into my heart and change my life. I want You to be the Lord of my life. Fill the void in my life and make me whole. Lord, help me to trust You. Help me to Love and serve You as I should. Thank You for saving me and accepting me as Your child. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Yes, my brothers and sisters, if you have prayed this prayer with a sincere heart, you are now saved. Welcome to the family of God. Heaven rejoices over every soul that comes to Christ.
