TRUE LOVE

John 3:16-17

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved”

Do you want to experience true love? God sent His only begotten Son-the one and only-to die for you and for the entire world. It was all because He loves us. Even when we had no idea that God existed, He knew us and already had overwhelming love and compassion for us.

He did not send Jesus into the world to condemn us, but to save us out of sin. God knew that one day you would need a Savior, so Jesus came and sacrificed His life. It was pure love that nailed Him to the cross. It was for you, and it was for the world.

Do you want a best friend who will love you at all times? Jesus already paid that ultimate price. A true friend loves at all times-(Proverbs 17-17). This act of love is the greatest love story ever told.

So if there is a day you feel unloved, think about what Jesus did for you. Think about how much God loves you and thought about you before you were even born. That is true love. He is not condemning you; He is loving you into His Kingdom.

I want you to know that you are loved by God, no matter where you find yourself today. Know this for certain: you are truly loved by a Savior who gave His life for you. If you were the only person in the world, He still would have given His life for you.

Now that’s true love!
